We are full-time missionaries with Cru/Campus Crusade for Christ and have been assigned to Canada's FamilyLife ministry in Langley, British Columbia. Our goal is to help give every person an opportunity to find new life in Jesus Christ.

We are integrating the good news of Christ and biblical principles on family to effectively develop Godly families who change the world one home at a time.

Rob and Carrie serve FamilyLife as directors of single parent ministries developing and incorporating single parent families into the already established FamilyLife ministry. Rob, previously a creative director for eBay, uses his advertising/marketing/graphic design skills in designing, producing, and implementing ministry outreaches, instructional Bible studies, manuals, advertising, promotional, and resource material for all FamilyLife venues.

You don’t need to look very long at the state of the family today to see that there is a tremendous need for spiritual guidance in our homes. Our desire is to take people on a FAITH ADVENTURE. "Faith Adventure's" start with one person discovering Jesus Christ, experiencing the power of the Holy Spirit by helping someone else discover Jesus, and inspiring others to do the same.

No one person or organization can fulfill the Great Commission alone. But we can reach one. And that one can reach another. And another. And another... until everyone has been impacted by the transforming power of the Gospel. It is clear that families around the world are being destroyed and are in desperate trouble. We all need Jesus and His Word in our lives in order to bring about healing.

We believe that the world can be reached for Christ by meeting the relational needs of the family. We desire not only to reach them, but also to equip them with God’s plan for the family so that they can leave a godly legacy that will ripple outwards and impact future generations.

Such a task takes teamwork! Given the magnitude of our need, we work by having a team – people and churches who send us and believe that God is working through us. Our team supports us with prayer and with the finances for us to remain faithful to our call as missionaries.

FamilyLife also has two one-day conferences. We partner with churches to reach out to couples and families in their community. We've also worked with Christian business owners to enrich the married lives of their employees.

Partnering with churches to provide resources and marriage enrichment training, FamilyLife’s one-day conference is designed for couples who may never otherwise darken a church door. A Day Together gives couples tools to take their relationship to the next level by discovering what real commitment, real communication, real companionship and real closeness look like. Presented in a fast-paced, fun-filled, media-driven fashion, couples laugh and cry their way to a better understanding of each other.

Participants at A Day Together hear God’s blueprints for life and marriage. The conference circuit is a fully developed program with conference materials and a follow-up strategy for churches. Speaker couples continue to be trained to accommodate this outreach event.

By translating the conference material into Spanish, Chinese, and Punjabi, FamilyLife has also taken A Day Together to Paraguay, China, and India. A multiplying number of over 1,000 speaker couples have been trained and the ministry is spreading rapidly throughout these countries.

Parenting isn’t easy and at times we wish each child came with an owner’s manual. LEGACY is a conference that gives parents principles, tools and encouragement from the Creator of families - who is the author of the greatest parenting book ever written! It’s exciting to see these time-tested principles working effectively in each family’s unique situation.

LEGACY is an effective outreach event. The practical and Biblical principles are presented in a sensitive fashion that shows the wisdom of Scripture. Bridges are built that help open doors for future discussions about spiritual relationships.
